January Math

So, I'll start by saying that my kids are better in math than I am! I am really going to have to study ahead if I am to "teach" them anything!
The younger two have already blown through the county math book and thus far, I have not found a replacement workbook. So, we have been doing a lot of review with them orally and involving them in almost all of the cooking. I have some brain teaser math worksheets that they are really enjoying that I will post here. Starting in February we will be revisiting some of the more holistic Waldorf stories and doing some whole to part activities to secure their knowladge of the four processes.

As for Lydia, she is still working on mastery of those multiplication tables. The 6's and 8's are really giving her fits, but we are getting there. I am waiting for mastery of this skill before diving into long division, but once she has the tables down, I think division will be a breeze.
